Ferro Silicon
Ferro Silicon, Engineered to specification
Ferro Silicon (FeSi) is an alloy of iron and silicon, produced by reducing silica (quartz) with carbon in a submerged arc furnace at temperatures of around 1800°C. Our commercial grade is 70% Silicon minimum — a grade that is highly power-intensive to produce, which is why our location in hydro-power-rich Arunachal Pradesh is a genuine operating advantage, not just a geographic detail.
We supply in the 10mm–70mm lump size range — a size band few Indian producers offer, giving customers more flexibility in how they use the material in their own processes.

USAGE
Oxide Reduction
Reduces metals from their oxides, enabling efficient extraction and improving metallurgical processing.
Deoxidation
Deoxidizes steel and other ferrous alloys by removing dissolved oxygen, ensuring cleaner and stronger metal.
Carbon Retention
Prevents the loss of carbon from molten steel, maintaining the desired composition and mechanical properties.
Graphitization
Inoculates iron to accelerate graphitization, enhancing casting quality, durability, and machinability.
Media Separation
Enables heavy media separation and atomization for efficient material processing and higher recovery rates.
Metallurgy
Widely used in casting and metallurgy processes to improve production efficiency and deliver high-quality metal products.
